What is my clown loach doing here?

Why is my clown loach doing this I thought he was struggling but then stops doing it and swims normally and has been going back and fourth between the two all day… it’s almost as if he’s belly dancing but straight up and down.

Not sure if kuhlis are similar to clown loaches behavior wise, but my kuhlis “dance” and swim in circles nonstop, all the time.

For what it’s worth, what are the parameters and tank size? How long have you had him?

What do you mean? Sounds like a fish dying but without a video how are we supposed to help?

It wouldn’t let me post a video either way so I did post a photo it just disappeared but he passed away. He likely had skinny disease according to my clown loach forum.
