What Is Happening To My Angelfish?

I have a 75 gallon tank with 2 juvenile angelfish, a blue ram, a golden ram, a farowella, a bumble cat, a leopard bush fish, 2 Cory’s, and an opaline guarami. I fed my fish frozen brine shrimp earlier today and everything was fine. About 3 hours later I look at my gold angelfish and it looks like it’s intestines are coming out or something. It isn’t acting like it’s phased at all but I really like it and don’t want it to die. I appreciate and advice. And all my levels are right where they should be. Tank is set at 78 degrees and ph is about 6.8

It’s definitely a prolapse.

Yeah, agree with others. A prolaspe.

I would reccomend not feeding them a couple of days and see if it heals on its own, and if you haven't already, look into high quality foods to reduce the likelyhood of it happening again.

Epsom salt also is meant to help.

I would separate the angel from everyone else to prevent them from thinking the prolapse is food and nipping it (which would slow healing or otherwise damage the area preventing it from healing).

Woke up this morning and looked at my angelfish and it’s back to normal like nothing ever happened. Weird

I would recommend better food and feeding practice then.
There is the chance the fish is just weak [genetically] and this will be an ongoing issue or proper diet may correct it .
