What Heater Is Best For A 10 Gallon Tank?

The heater I used to have is a Tetra submersible 50-Watt heater that I got from Walmart, which didn't work well. I bought a ViaAqua 50-Watt adjustable heater and it will not even turn on unless I turn it way up, which would be too high of a temp for my betta. What heaters do you recommend for a 10 gallon tank that is adjustable, for under $20? Also I would prefer if it was on amazon because I have prime.

I'd recommend a Penn Plax 50 watt heater, It worked really well with my past 10 gal. Its only $12

I recommend the eheim jäger if you can afford it- mine is always exactly where I set it.

I don't know about cheaper ones-I shop pet stores and Amazon has more selection lol
