What Freshwater "shark" Can Live With Oranda Goldfishes?

I have 2 Orandas in a 55 gallon tank. Every freshwater "shark" I've come across (roseline shark, bala shark, etc.) cannot live in the cooler temperatures like the Orandas. Does there exist ANY fish that looks like a shark or has "shark" in its name that can live healthy with Orandas?
Thanks!

Not commercially sold as a shark, but I used to keep my Siamese Algae Eater with my goldfishes. It did very well, eating the same foods as them and got quite big. Then it started chewing on their tails, but only the long, flowing ones. It left the normal short-tailed common alone.

Thanks. Keeping in mind I have Orandas, which have long, flowing tails, maybe I'll have to pass on this one? I don't have a tiny tank (55 gallons). Are they schooling fish? If not, do you think just 1 will pick on my Orandas?

I wouldn’t risk it then, unless you have a plan B (rehome to another aquarium).

And yes, they do fine by themselves, but mine would school with the Common goldfish.

Why do you need a shark? No shark I can think of unless you want to try a bamboo shark which needs a MUCH bigger tank. and will likely eat the goldfish ahhaha.

I agree. I don’t see the point of getting one just to have a fish called a “shark.” It’s just marketing. You can’t even call it a poor-man’s shark, because it looks nothing like one and has no relation to actual sharks.

I am not really aware of any tropical fish, shark or not, who would be comfortable in temps under 70 degrees which is what the orandas like.
I am sure something might exist in the tropical world that likes 70 degree temps, but I don't know what they are!! I suppose common plecos do like temps around 70, but they don't belong in smaller tanks. (55g would be considered small for a common pleco)

I feel pretty strongly that goldfish should be species only. But that's just me.
