What Fresh Water Plants Will Grow Without My Oscar Up Rooting Them

hI I’m new to this forum and wanted to know what plants I could buy that my Oscar wouldn’t make a mess of I have a 55 and my Oscar is about 6 inches long. Thanks!

Consider floating plants - can't really uproot them - or plants that don't grow in the tank itself - like having a pothos clipping with its roots hanging in the tank.

 

My paratilapia polleni, which behaves like Oscars I've owned, spends all night attacking floating plants. It's nonstop jumping and splashing as soon as lights go out.
