What fish that wont eat Water Wisteria.?

Chiasmodon

I have this very tall wisteria in my garden, and I want to put it in my tank, however my fish and shrimp might eat its roots but I'm not sure. Here are my fish and shrimp: Three spot gourami, white skirt and whisker shrimp.

What do you guys think would eat the wisteria?

Water wisteria grows pretty quickly and if your fish and shrimp are well fed it should be safe.
Tetras and gourami are usually meat eaters as far as I know.

my poor frogbits got eaten by my Three spots, especially the roots, so there might be a chance that the wisteria will become another victim, since the wisteria also growing roots from its stems.

If you trim them and replant the newly rooted bits it might be safe. Are any of your gourami diggers?

They like to pick something on the sand because there might be some leftover food. I don't see them dig at all.
