I got no fish stuff from Santa. So I was forced to wait till payday,I went straight from work yesterday and got a sandsifting starfish,5 more hermits,3 more snails and the prize of the day,a longhorn cowfish!
Sounds like a plan! Do you have the heat cranked to max and aeration going in the new tank? That's another trick that might shave a little more time off of getting it cycled.

I already keep the temp around 80. Down here in Florida it seldom gets any cooler inside. I'm monitering both tanks closely, they'll be fine. I've gotten to be an expert on cycling a tank with fish living in it. If you're very careful, you can do it and not stress the fish.
Got a new Aquaclear 70 power filter and a power gravel cleaner!! Very happy! I,m sure my fish will be happy too!!
santa brought me a 50 dollar gift card and a 55 gallon tank with filter heater and lighting+hood!
oooooo... I saw a photo of those golden nugget pleco's. Man... they are awesome looking! ;D Nice!besides the fish from my 20 gal, I was thinking a school of glo-lights, and possible a golden nugget pleco
Well I must of been really good this year because this fish beginner just hit the jack pot! I got for X-mas a nice 32 gallon tall tank, 2 bags of gravel, 1 bag of aquarium plants, 1 huge anchor decor, 1 sunken ship and a nice big fake plant for my aquarium. I hope my fishies especially my angels love it to pieces !!!
What are you putting in there C?I got a brand-new 75gal Marineland tank with a cherry finish on trim (instead of the traditional black)..
Hmm now I only need to find a good place for it.
