What Ferts/bottled Products Do I Need?

I have a 20 gallon long tank, and right now I'm having algae problems (hair algea) and my rotala rotundifolia is stunted and very pale. Right now I'm dosing FLourish Comprehensive 2x a week at 1.6 mL. I have a finnex stingray. I'm thinking about doing a Co2 system. What bottled ferts do I need... Such as:

Iron
Potassium
Excel (not if I do DIY citric acid co2)

What I have:
Flourish Comprehensive
Prime

Also, someone on here was telling me that stability was one of the most important things in there tank with delicate fish... Is this true? What all does it do? Is there anything like this that I need to get?

What kind of substrate do you have? Do you have any root tabs?

For most low tech, low light plants, you don't need to supplement iron, potassium, or excel.

Stability is bottled bacteria. It's used for cycling, but you can also use it when adding new fish to help bolster the beneficial bacteria. You don't really need it if your tank is cycled though. It won't help delicate fish in other ways.

Yeah, some CO2 will help a lot.

I recommend nilocg thrive, it has more macros than flourish, and you will need them if you go with CO2.

That stuff looks good! If I got it would I need to buy iron, potassium, ect?

Most likely not, as long as you don't have any high iron demanding plants. And thrive already has a lot of potassium in it (9.4% compared to 0.37% in flourish).

Since you already have flourish on hand you can occasionally dose that as well, to add the lesser micros that thrive doesn't have.

I thought the nilcocg thrive had macros and micros?

I kind of have a high iron demanding plant as its supposed to be red... rotala rotundifolia?

It does, flourish has a few more in very small amounts that is probably already in your tap.

If the thrive still doesn't have enough iron, you can add some later, but I don't think you'll run into deficiency.
