Hi everyone, so I'm getting ready to add some more fish to my 29 gal and need some stocking suggestions.

Here is what i have already-

    5- zebra danios
    4- red wig platys (2m, 2f)
2- pepper corys (i think, could be emerald though)

I'm looking for some interesting fish to even out the tank. I was thinking of adding-

    3- corys or ottos
    2- Honey gourami
    or
    1- blue ram

What else can/ should I add or not add? Thanks!

You need at least 3 more of the same cory species. They require groups.

I would suggest that you fully research any species you're interested and take note of the school size each species might require before you stock this tank any further.

Peppered corys and emerald corys look nothing alike. I suggest you google cory images to see which species you have.

The bronze corys look quite a bit like the emeralds but are a diff fish.

I highly recomend upping the corys one way or the other, just ensure you get the same kind.

After that, personally I think a Ram would look great in that tank.

Thanks. They are pepper corys. Thats what i thought but the LFS had them labeled wrong. I will head there today and round out their school before anything. Thanks for the advice.

That should make for some much more active corys, they really are a great fish to have in a tank.
