Hi everyone,
I currently have a planted 29 gallon with the following fish:
  • 6 Orange Von Rio Flame Tetras
  • 4 Blue Mickey Mouse Platties
I like the stock I have now but I think I need a few more fish to complete the tank. I think I need a school of bottom dwellers (panda cories?) and a centerpiece fish. What would you suggest?

Thanks for the suggestions. I keep my tank at 78-80. I would love an angel fish but I think it will grow too large for my tank. What about a pearl gourami? I was thinking more like 6 panda cories. Thoughts?

1 angel is not too large for a 29 gallon by any means, but a pearl gourami is a fine substitute. Panda cories prefer water a bit cooler, more towards 74.

There are some strains of scalares that get huge.

I keep both. A 29 gallon is more than sufficient for one.
