What does ICH look like?

Not that I have it in my tank (knock on wood).I heard it looks like salt sprinkled over a fish could there just be one spot or the whole fish. I'm preparing just in case.

 

Ich generally looks like small dots around the fish generally on the body and the tails. They generally only last a few days before the fish's immune system knocks it off. At that time if you will want to regularly (1-2 times/day) gravel vac the bottom. After repeat attacks on the fish, the fish will generally die off.

 

People help me out I noticed one of my neons has on whitespot on the top finsize of a pin head only One spot on the whole body?. its not flat either ill try to get a pic.

 

Ich can appear as just the one spot, at first. But it doesn't take long at all for more spots to appear. If you have just the one spot, and it's been one spot for over a day, it's most likely food residue or something else. I see that on certain of my fish all the time.

 

I saw it after a water change so maybe

 

It has dissappared.
