What Do You Need To Start A Saltwater Aquarium?

I'm contemplating starting a small saltwater aquarium, maybe 100 to 150 litres. I've looked into it a lot but all the equipment keeps going over my head, so I've got absolutely nothing but a tank, what do I need to start a saltwater aquarium? (fish, equipment, corals, live rock etc.)

Honestly, for a small setup, you need everything you would need for a freshwater setup, plus live rock/marine salt/hydrometer. I notice some Mollies in your profile picture, it might be interesting to you to know that they can be transitioned fully into salt water.

Yes I've heard they can be transferred into a fully salt water environment, that'll be a fun experience Are there any fish you would recommend for stocking a tank that size?

Clownfish are relatively hardy and cheap.

Here's a short list off the top of my head(don't put all of these in there):
Royal Gramma
Shrimp Goby pair
Clownfish pair
Tailspot blenny
Firefish

Zebra Barred Dartfish

My favorite saltwater fish are Clownfish because they always seem to have a sassy attitude and poke your arm when you scrub the tank.

So to avoid over stocking, how many fish would you put in there?

So I see you are starting a Saltwater tank

I listed all the equipment to buy on my thread. That should give you a good guideline of what you will need.
PM me if you need help.
