What do you love about bettas

What do you find cute about them? Funny?

I personally love when they bob their head after eating. It's just so cute!

I also love how quickly you learn their personalities.

 

I love their food dance. Mine get really excited when they see me. It's so cute.

Mine sees the food container and charges when I walk over with it, then flutters around dizzily before getting scared by my fingers dropping a pellet in

The way they watch you all day like "S'up, yo?"

 

Today he was hiding behind the filter, I walked over, and he popped right up to say hello which was absolutely adorable to me

 

I love how Phoenix tries to slither into every wedge possible. He even tries to get under plant roots right above the gravel. Also, Bettas in general, are very smart. Phoenix knows where the filter's current is now since I baffled so he will stop swimming when he comes to it and just lets his little self guild through. :heart.

 

I love when they peek out from behind/under plants!

I also love their fiery little spirits of perseverance.

 

Well I've got one for eac of my Bettas-
Keshet, I love how he'll come out and say high whenever I'm there
Roden, he's such a sweet heart and doesn't flare or is mean to his roomie Jet. Or he's just vain and think he's the only Betta that's worth being flared at
Rory, he is so curious and I believe he will let me pet him. He almost ate out of my hand as well
Jet, still got to figure him out a bit, but he changes like crazy when he's stressed. He can go almost instantly to a black lace/brown coloration straight to a superblack(over a few seconds).

 

Phoenix is starting to eat his pellets whole now and I love hearing him chop em up. It's the cutest thing.

 

Kel did a crazy beautiful display as I was getting his dinner out. I actually said, "Wow," out loud.

 

I love that at the pet store when I look at them they flare and are all like "Hey! Hey you! Set up a tank for me NOW! Look how fierce I am!"

This, so fare has convinced me. I will set up a divided betta tank soon!

 

With Blue Water I love how excited she gets whenever I'm around the tank. She starts wiggling around very quickly when the food container is near her tank too.

I also like it when she goes still and rests on a plant. I get to see all of her instead of a quickly moving blue blur. It's difficult to catch her being still since she is such an active betta.

Awe, nice! I personally like the calmer ones, but I do get a good laugh when they charge at you flaring
