What do you like to feed your fish?

I'm feeding them flakes and then frozen brine shrimp once a week. Now I'm reading that a varied diet is best that includes freeze dried food and even a piece of cucumber or zucchinI every now and then.

So just curious - what do you guys feed your fish?

 

I feed mine quality flakes and occasionally bloodworms. Last summer I had live bloodworms as well.

 

I feed mine flakes and I feed my cories sinking pellets, which the other fish pigged out on too this morning.

 

New Life Spectrum Thera+ 1mm pellets - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Frozen Mysis Shrimp - Tuesday
Frozen Brine Shrimp - Saturday

My fish don't eat on Sunday, helps clean out their intestines and they don't get bloated.

 

depends on the fish, but overall, feeding live food is the most fun

I will second the NLS pellets as well.

 

Monday - Fast day
Tuesday - flakes
Wednesday - algae crisps
Thursday - flakes
Friday - flakes
Saturday - brine shrimp or bloodworms
Sunday - flakes

I'm experimenting with pellets for some of the flake days.

I've been seeing NLS Thera a lot lately while researching fish food. What exactly is Thera?

Seriously, I'd LIKE to hand feed the fish nothing but blood worms, as it's entertainment. But in reality they get Omega One color "minI pellets" daily, and a sinking algae wafer every other day. Blood works once a week, and the kids DO keep track of whose turn it is to feed them that.

 

Feed the kids to the sharks lol?

Hmm, how are alligator's with chlorine? You never know what might sneak into my pool ..............
