What kind of predatory fish do you guys have?

 

Goldfish
Best snail eater I ever owned, lol.

 

I never knew goldfish ate snails! I have to agree to their predator status, though. Axolotls are the top predators in my tanks, but throw a goldfish in there and they would all lose their gills in no time!

 

Jaguar Cichlid, male, will destroy anyone in his path lol.

I've always wanted a jaguar cichlid, they are a cool species.

Its an African Cichlid, and I bet you could guess why its called that

It hasn't been established as fact yet, but there has been many reports of these fish attacking the eyes of other species of fish.

 

My Betta is my most predatory fish but then he's also the only one I have.

 

My most are probably my oscars bichirs or my silver gar

 

Out of my fish my bettas. I have a aggressive female who flares at everthing. She is crazy.

Zebra danios work well, since they are too fast for the axolotls to catch, and they enjoy the same environmental conditions. Japanese ricefish and celestial pearl danios are also a good match, but they get caught right away, so I only add culls. I also have a crayfish living behind each mattenfilter. It keeps the filter clean, and the crays seem to enjoy themselves back there. Useful little critters.

 

Well for fish that will eat other fish, male macmasterI apisto (he devoured a whole spawn of bn pleco fry), angelfish. my kuhlis are great snail hunters. And my swordtails will eat smaller fish.
