What do you do with unwanted fish?

I've been considering going a different direction with my tanks. Only problem is that would leave me with fish that I don't want.
I've given fish away in the past, but I hate to give these fish away since I have invested so much in them.
I was wondering what some of you do or have done to get rid of unwanted fish.

sell them locally or online, or sell them/give them back to the LFS. Whatever you do, do not put them into the wild, it's better to euthanize then to do that IMO.

Putting them into the wild isn't even a consideration. Besides they would never survive a Indiana winter.

you could advertise them for free on craigslist also, but most locally owned fish stores will take them (and often times give credit or pay for them)

Good morning,

My LFS will give me 1/2 the price I paid for the fish if I purchased the fish from them. If not, then I have donated the fish to them in the past.

get another tank or sell/give them to the LFS that you have the best relationship with.

Get another tank! MTS. Or rehoming them is the way to go.
