What does everyone do for a living??



I apologize if this thread has already been done....

I, myself, am a full-time student and a part-time waitress/bartender.

 

I am on disability...but my bf, Ty does landscaping/yard clean ups etc.. and works on computers which helps us out A LOT.
I am a full time cat & fish mom.

 

I make sausages out of cute, cuddly animals. :-*

 

I am a full time lazy person and a part time gas jockey/student/football player.

I work at home in my business with AGEL .......Great fun, $$$, and work with the people I like!

Best of all it gives me time and $ to play with my fish!

I sleep all day and work at night. :;co Keeping the streets safe for the rest of the the folks in the D.C. area.

 

I am a Labor and Delivery RN who is taking some time off to be a stay-at-home mom. I LOVE both of my jobs!!!!

I am a special ed. educational assistant in a high school. I can't go to work for a while yet though. My knee got hurt at work June 1st, I had surgery August 14, and won't be going back to work until about September 24th. SAIF disability income just doesn't cut it.

I thought this would be an interesting topic, forgive me if this has been done before, but what do you do for a living and what do you do for fun, besides aquatic life, for me I'm and electrician and an avid golfer. And for all you denverites what part, I used to live in Northglenn 2 years ago I moved back to my native NC

I'm a chronic student (creative writing, so even when I graduate, I'm not going to have a real career ), gamer (pen and paper as well as computer), karateka, and animal-lover.

 

Firefighter. Fish tanks. Fishing. I have a family too.

I'm a postie in the country, and I'm a dad - which pretty much means I don't have time for interests, and even if I did they don't matter since the ball and chain always has something else for me to do.... (Love you honey )

 

I'm working on a Real-Estate affiliated broker's license.

I clean up road kill and bring my work home with me.

Videographer is what I mainly do and Stacy is a cake decorator.

 

Work as a manager at a retail store. Currently planning a wedding and have fun with my fish tank and three cats.

 

Degree as RN, worked as a nurse for 5 years, kids came along. When they began middle school I started substitute teaching and working as a school nurse. Now I have a High School Senior to deal with!!!! and a sophmore also.

Photography, Birds, Fish, and Family (not in that order exactly)!

 

Secretary.

 

Respiratory Therapist (which makes the co2 and o2 exchange in the tanks interesting for me!!!) .... my hubby is a paramedic with a bachlors in enviromental science/minor in chemistry (he is awesome w/ the fish tanks his schooling is coming back to him and the knowledge of the species of fish, water chemistry, etc is handy! especially since he did an internship at oak ridge w/ fisheries right after college but that was almost 10 years ago)....

I only work part time, as I am more of a stay at home mom until my youngest who had some health issues until he was 18 months starts kindergarden and I am going back to school AGAIN for Nurse Practioner, and if I can't find time for that at the least and RN Ill be happy with either, just more job security!

 

I work for Comcast Cable as a headend technician in Indianapolis, father of a three and a half year old and a four month old (which means I don't sleep), Golfer, learning guitar, and new to the fishing world and loving it! I also love video games but don't really have the time anymore, I pretty much just play a game called counter-strike:source because its quick and fun

 

Army medic/ nursing student..both at the same time..Time consuming...besides fish..I play soccer and have a hobby called geocaching...oh and I like to play with my car

 

Ive been with a small fitness company for 10 years and am enrolled in cabinetmaking as a hobby/future career (the only girl they have ever seen with pink safety glasses, I'm sure!).

I'm a mom of a 18 month old and 2 cats. SOON to be engaged to and absolutely cannot wait!

What do you do for your day job? What do you like best about it, and does it involve your hobby in any way?

I work at a customs brokerage, I like that I work with some great gals, and get to listen to audio books all day.

Unfortunately it doesn't involve my hobby at all.. unless sneaking on this forum when no one is looking, lol.

Hey that's very funny that you mention this. The wife and I own and run a US Customs bonded warehouse and we also do trucking on the side. So we deal with a lot of customs brokerages.
