What do our fish have??

So my boyfriend had a blood parrot fish and a green texas cichlid (each 2-3 inches long) in a 60 gal tank. We than got a tiger oscar (also 2-3 inches long). We've had him for a week and all of a sudden the top of him seems to be a little less colorful than before, almost a whitish silverfish tone. Than all of the fish started to flash every so often against the sand or other objects in the tank. Tank has been cycled for a year now. Oscar is also displaying fin/tail rot of some sort.

Our problem is that we can't tell whether its ich or velvet disease due to the fact that there are no specs of anything on body or fins. They all eat everything he feeds them and still beg for more, while constantly swimming around the tank and playing with each other. The other fish show no sign of any discoloration like the oscar. He raised the temp to 86 degrees and I advised him to try Ich Attack due to the plants in the aquarium he's been working his butt off to take care of. Also, no need for advice on tank. We're both currently saving for a 100 gal for soon purchase.

Nitrate- 80
Nitrite- 0
pH- 7.0
KH- 180
GH- 180

PLEASE HELP!

HI BabybribrI and welcome to Fishlore.

It looks like your Nitrates are really high. You should do a 70% water change to get them down. The Nitrates shouldn't go over 20. Don't start adding meds if you aren't sure of what the problem is. First, just try to get the water as perfect as possible and see how things progress.

Okay. Now whatever it is seems to have progressed a little more. Doing 30-50% water changes everyday and water is better now. here's the pics though

Thank you for the pictures.
It might be my screen, but the pictures are a bit blurry.
Does it look like grains of salt?

As long as you hold the water temperature at 86 degrees and keep up with the water changes, the fish should be fine. Make sure you aerate the tank. The warmer water holds less oxygen so you will need more bubbles and surface agitation.

I see maybe two or three specs of what looks like salt; but, mostly discoloration. I got paraguard so either way it should do the trick since malachite green is supposed to treat ich and velvet. I have it at 82, but I'll gradually move it up to 86. Just got an air stone and pump today. Thankyou

Well we added the Paraguard and also aquarium salt. I added two teaspoons per five gallons, there are other posts saying to add more, but I wanted to be on the safe side. I let the salt fully dissolve, and added two cups of mixture every hour. Today, Oscar's color and body look so much better and brighter, but his eyes are dark and cloudy now. So, idk. We did another water change, replacing the salt per gallon ratio. Haven't added the daily dose of Paraguard yet though.

And everyone is still eating. They're all swimming around and their behavior seems way better than before, they keep begging for food. I haven't seen anyone flash against the sand either.

just checked him, and his eyes are getting better. they're half as cloudy as they were in the morning, so I have no idea what happened.

The Oscar isn't getting worse but seems to have gotten a little better and is now staying there. The parrot seems to have developed more white spots on its find, but look like fuzzy. the end of the fin is brown instead of light orange red. and it also has a brown dot or two around the mouth while something looks like it's eating away at the gills
