What brand of air pumps are the best?

HI Everyone! Just wanted to know what brand of air pumps are the best? I want something quiet and dependable. Thanks to you all!!

 

I've found fusion air pumps made by JW pet to be the best on the market right now. The price is great, plus they are extremely quiet and powerful too.

Hello James, I know you said that fusion air pumps were good to go with but I am having a hard time trying to figure out what is the right size for my tanks. I will be using the air pumps for sponge filters. I need an air pump for my 30gal and for my 10 gal. What size would be good?? Do you think the 300 would do the 10 gal and the 400 0r 500 for the 30 gal? I am so confused on what to get. Can you help? Thanks

 

Fishyluv, I have a fusion 500, and I use it to run air stones in a 37, a 10, and in a 2.5; it's quiet and I don't have any flow problems at all when it's turned up high enough. I love it; I've tried several other brands and haven't found anything else that could compare. The 500 has two outlets, I would say it should be perfectly fine to power both your 10 and your 30.
