Got a taste of summer here last week so it seemed a good time for some low key summer reading with the 4th book in The Pot Thief Mysteries by JM Orenduff (as in old pottery pots, not the other kind). Some day I need to travel through New Mexico.

Just started The Knowledge by Martha Grimes, and I have Cemetary Dance by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (the Pendergast mystery series) waiting on the side

Just got the Hummingbird Handbook by John Shewey. It seems to be nice with lots of info and pictures. I am going to enjoy reading it!

Sorry if I'm repeating older recommendations, but anyone who's into breezy scifi-fantasy with some mystery and horror elements mixed in for fun, you ought to give the Locked Tomb series of books by Tamsyn Muir a good look. Book 3 of 4 dropped last fall, and they've all been really fun reads with each title introducing a lot of fresh energy to the story. Start with Gideon the Ninth (I like to mention since the title sounds like it might be later in a series, but no, that's book 1:D).
