I've seen,
Slayer
Suicidal Tendencies
White Zombie
Metallica
Alice in Chains
Anthrax
Guns n roses
Body Count
Biohazard
Gwar
Forbidden
Death Angel
Cynic
Megadeth
Sepultura
Faith No More
Godsmack
Rage Against the Machine
Pantera
Machine Head
Malevolent Creation
Obituary
Death
D.R.I.

Kiss
Iggy Pop
Charlie Daniels

there were others, can't remember them all..... Iggy was a free show at a city park amphitheater, and Charlie was with admittance to an annual cookoff event and were different years,
LOL both were great though, especially basically free!

I saw a lot of these bands in the 1990s for $5 or $10 cover charges at clubs. Seen a lot of them multiple times between 1990 and 2010.

Marilyn Manson was from my area, it was Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids then before the record deal, I saw them quite a bit being a local band as an opener at club shows. Never liked them though... meh, it's rare to like an opening act really.

Not a lot, and some of them were decades ago.
  • Dolly Parton at the Houston Rodeo when I was in high school (around 1977)
  • I saw George Strait several times at local dance halls in the early 1980's.
  • I wasn't a fan (and I'm still not), but I went to see Alabama with a group of friends about the same time. Janie Fricke opened for them. I really enjoyed her show.
  • Reba McIntyre at the Houston Rodeo in 1988, and again about five years ago.
  • Elton John at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion about 30 years ago.
  • Junior Brown in Tomball, TX about 10 years ago.
  • Todd Snider at the Heights Theater in Houston this past May.

really wish I had seen Depeche Mode, Allman Bros.
And ya know I was just a bit too young, but something tells me in my mind that Police Synchronicity Tour was amazing....... I still listen to that album a couple times a month, probably the first album I owned when I was 9 hahahaha, had vinyl first, cassette, and CD now..... never gets old to me, right up there with Pink Floyd Wish you were here album.

REM
Page and Plant
Santana
Black Sabbath
Ozzy
Iron Maiden
Rush
Appice Brothers
Glenn Hughes

Couple others I don't remember.
Man oh man, Rush, and Maiden! I've never had a chance to see either, also on my "want to" list.
And that reminds me I saw Ozzy twice for the stupid Ozzfests, jeesh how exhausting those kinds of concerts were I hardly even remember them except I felt like a drunken sweaty kickball for like a week afterwards.

Depeche Mode just wasn’t what I expected. They had drum machines and computers they were playing.was a big fan of their music but not their performance.
Allman Brothers and Ramones played locally on a regular basis with many others I just don’t remember.

I would never have guessed you all were such a bunch of rockers.

I worked in an industrial kitchen for 20 years. I had a well polished story for the youngsters about how I was a roady for Sly and the Family Stone for 6 weeks in 1978.

Once when ZZ Top was in our area we ended up with free tickets for two consecutive nights and went to both. Not only was the song list the same, but surprising to me so were the comments and jokes between songs!

Looked it up,
The Opener (special guest), is a Nashville TN. Pop punk band, Winona Fighter, Female Singer.

Have fun! But Unfortunately, you aren't lucky enough to get Sublime :)

Def jealous on the Depeche Mode and Sisters of Mercy front...
I was in the hospital getting chemotherapy, the day of the Sisters of Mercy concert. It didn't seem like I was going to get out in time for the show even though it was like 10 minutes away in Philly, The Nurses tried to get the Band to call me on the phone, and even though I did get to the show!, I got special VIP upgraded seats! And a couple of days later, a manager of the band called me in the hospital, and talked about the show with me!
I'm jealous. o_O So much...
Sounds like you have seen some great shows! I like some german industrial bands but your right, i didnt recognize too many on your list. I bet Rammstein was awesome! I was honestly a little worried that And One might be like that seen in the fast and the furious, LOL, they were very light instead, But realy fun!
OMG I forgot about the Cure,

Winona Fighter wasn't terrible, the crowd was pretty subdued for a punk band though. More my style than Incubus was, which was far from bad themselves. Not fair, their guitarist i swear hasn't aged a day since he started popping up on Guitar World covers.

Sounds like you have seen some great shows! I like some german industrial bands but your right, i didnt recognize too many on your list.
Thanks, yes, indeed! You have some of the greats of the industrial, post-punk and dark wave genres in your list I would almost kill to see live.
Many in my list are smaller bands that play medieval fairs and/or only sing in German and thus are unable to get a foothold elsewhere. Genrewise it's the full spectrum from medieval/folk music to punk and metal and electronic music to hip hop. I'm still a musician, I can listen to almost any music as long as it's done well.
I bet Rammstein was awesome! I was honestly a little worried that And One might be like that seen in the fast and the furious, LOL, they were very light instead, But realy fun!
To be honest... Rammstein was not out of my own devices, my girlfriend at the time got the tickets. I would prefer And One. Rammstein are overbearing here and are close to the point of self-parody in my opinion. The impression people have of the band outside the german speaking world is very different from the way they are received here.
OMG I forgot about the Cure,
Bucketlist for me. I'm going to try and catch the next time they play here (in March I think), as long as they are not yet at the point they are just embarrassing themselves playing shows.
