I'm a little curious as to what everyone prices for fish are. I don't know why, it's interesting to see the difference in price. What are your prices for just your basic fish, like a single cory, a neon tetra and a gourami?
could you explain the question better?Iridium_2256 said:I'm a little curious as to what everyone prices for fish are. I don't know why, it's interesting to see the difference in price. What are your prices for just your basic fish, like a single cory, a neon tetra and a gourami?
I wish pandas was that cheap here.... bump it up to $15 AU.Andy S said:I'm in Greece, recently bought Panda Corys for 3 euros a piece, that's just under 5 Australian Dollars.
lol I thought my place was expensive...Jenoli42 said:whoa. nz is not cheap...
our sterbaI were $12.50 each. kuhlI loaches $7.50 each. Odessa Barbs $12 each. rummy nose tetra $7.50 each. cardinal tetra $9 each. EBJD $100. firemouth $23. apple snails $4.50. mystery snails $10
So, fishless cycles are more popular where you live?Jenoli42 said:whoa. nz is not cheap...

lol you'd think so but ignorance of cycles is prevalent in all countries!TexasGuppy said:So, fishless cycles are more popular where you live?
That would be unheard of in Auz. They sell here for around $40 each.Fanatic said:My Celestial Pearl Danios that I bought for my 31 gallon tank were $11.99 each, cost me $141.00 for a dozen.
I know, that's extremely pricey.

Ouch, at least in auz things are usually a little cheaper - not by much, cardinals are cheaper mostly - than Nz.
I'm happy to see if it's legal to send kuhlis to you across the ditch! those are easy to find hereBrannor said:As it is hard to source glass shrimp here where I am, as well as KuhlI Loaches, I am quite tempted to buy some fish from an online store that ships them here in Aus...
I'd send you some (live) shrimp, but besides them being destroyed, I'd prefer to not spend any time in court/jail.Jenoli42 said:I'm happy to see if it's legal to send kuhlis to you across the ditch! those are easy to find here
the kuhlI thing must be a Victorian State law because they widespread in Sydney!Brannor said:I'd send you some (live) shrimp, but besides them being destroyed, I'd prefer to not spend any time in court/jail.

Maybe in the east, or maybe they just are really popular and we always miss them... but I think we've seen 1 small black one at one store in several weeks out west.aussieJJDude said:Kuhlis in melbourne are easy to source. Most stores are selling the black and striped kuhlies - and subscape is also selling some silvers last time I checked....
