you can get a computer monitor instead, they're about half the price of an equivalent television...of course they don't have TV tuners built in either.

I don't watch TV, so it's no problem for me ;-D

BTW: My new 23" monitor is GIGANTIC. I'm afraid it's too big! I'll have to get used to it, I'm used to sitting close and squinting...squint no more!

A lot of computer monitors have TV Tuners built in now and can easily handle like an HDTV.

For example You can watch tv, work on the computer, or play xbox on the same screen (just not at the same time!) They are out there, just need to research to find the best choice for you.

That's what my husbands computer room looks like, except try 2 computers both with dual monitors and a huge file server!

For christmas I will probably buy myself a new camera lens, I am really wanting a telephoto zoom for when I am out in the mountains. Other than that we are saving as we have put an offer in on a house and will need to buy a few things if we get the house (fingers crossed).
