    Hi,
I have one 3-4" crayfish and two dwarf gouramis.
I get these within a week of water change, they start appearing soon after the water change.
Also does it look right that my carfish poops so much? I never see poop from the gouramis, so I assume those long strings are from crayfish.

1st picture is one type of white stuff floating, 2nd picture is another type of fluffy stuff attached to the gravel.

Could it be decaying food? Do you feed pellets?

That ain't crayfish poo. What do you feed him?
In the second picture it looks like you have planaria or some other form of worm on the glass.

Yes, I occasionally get worms in there, I checked them closely and shared here as well they were identified as detritus worms.
Funnily the worms appear after a water change, disappear over time, it's really sporadic, I am working on it.

I always thought that was crayfish poop, I've seen cray with some stuck on her tail. What does crayfish poop look like?

It is due for another water change soon.
I posted more info here So Much Poop From Crayfish? , and mentioned that I feed her crab cuisine and placo wafers. Definitely not overfeeding her. She get 1 wafer per day, if anything I think she is not being fed enough, what do you guys think?

If you think we should merge the threads, I can ask a mod to merge them.

Have any of your fish gone missing recently? It could be pieces of them.
I think it's safe to say it's most likely uneaten food, as I'm not sure to as what else it could be.
Are you sure your cray is eating the pellets?

No fish disappearances, same fish for a while.
Cray sometimes takes the wafer and disappears, other days I see the gouramis go after the wafer and try to eat it, they just nib on it.
Pellets disappear most of the time, I see cray eat the pellets more than the wafer. I'll try to feed less, I will be separating the cray to another tank, so no more pellets or wafers in this tank, flakes only. Will see if the conditions improve.

Thanks, I'll be feeding less crab cuisine, in fact I won't drop next pallet until she is done with first one.
