What Are These White Dots Showing Up?

    Eggs? I highly doubt it

    They are eggs. Nerite snail eggs, to be exact. They won't hatch in freshwater, so they just stay there, looking unsightly.

    My tank is pretty much covered in them. Do you have nerite snails?

    Ah makes sense! I assumed nerites didn't even produce eggs in freshwater.

    Yep I have two nerite snails.

    I learned the hard way too. They’re nearly impossible to scrub off. You can use a razor blade on the glass but any decor I have given up trying to get them off! She keeps my tank clean so I just let her do her thing lol
