What are these spots?

I've brought home a new fish (Paradise Fish). It looked good in the store, but when I got home I've noticed she has dark spots inside her body visible when she's against any light source. They seem regular in size and round. I've included a photo?

Is this some kind of parasite? I'm holding off on adding her to the tank until someone can help me identify what these are. Thank you for all your help!!!

I thought that could be a possibility. It seems unlikely though. They are way too large to be eggs. These things cause the the body to be deformed slightly. Typically when fish have eggs they just get bulky. I've never seen a fish with this condition in the decade or so of keeping fish.

Any other ideas? Has anyone seen anything like this?

I don't know what that is, but it's not eggs.

I've seen bruising that looked a bit like that when an electrofisher was turned up a bit high.

I'd be keeping the fish in QT for a long time.

Bruising...hmm... never crossed my mind. The fish looked alright in the store, so maybe?

It sure looks weird.
