What are these? Bulbous Roots, long, slender stems with small leaves.

    I got two of these little plants from the store the other day. Lots of thick, short things that I think are roots that lead up into slender stems and leaves. Not sure if I need to plant these deeper in the substrate, one of them is already sending out roots to burrow in (the center background plant). Employee didn't seem too sure about what they were....

    Also, what do you guys think about my black and white substrate blend? Black gravel, white sand.

    1 Anubias on lava rock
    2 Anubias floating
    1 dwarf grass
    1 patch of micro swords
    2 unknown

    Those are banana plants.
