Im thinking of some fish alternatives for my 30 gal (the description is outdated BTW) and came across alpine newt, I really want one now, but in the winter the water should go down to about 50 Fahrenheit, and the water stays fairly cool all year round for these guys, so I’d replace my heater with a cooler. Then I thought about my plants, can the following survive these temperatures;
anubias nana
Amazon sword
Moneywort
Corkscrew Val
Marimo moss ball
Please tell me they won’t die! I can move my corkscrew to my 5g, but everything else needs to stay, although I may be able to give my friend my anubias.

Ok, good. I’ll just move the corkscrew and find a place for my anubias. Love that anubias though. My poor sword is so big the only tank I know it’ll fit in is my 30, what do you say it’s chances are if the temp got down to 50 for a few months?
