What are some easy live plants?

I would really like to add some live plants to my tank. I have heard that some plants require CO2 and I do NOT want to have to mess with that right now. What are some good easy, recommended plants? I have Platties and a Bristlenose Pleco.

 

ambulia is a good looking and hardy plant. i had them as my first live plants and they are fantastic! they also grow pretty quick

 

Can't go wrong with epiphytes like anubias, java fern, bucephalandra, bolbitis etc. All hardy and can be simply attached to decor in the tank rather than being planted.

 

Guppy grass, any of the Java mosses, Subwassertang are all easy growing free floating plants that don’t float but just hang out near the substrate without roots attached to anything special.

 

Mosses, Epiphytes (anubias and java ferns) and floater plants (salvinia, water lettuce) are all fairly easy and don't require much on your end. If you're willing to stick the plant into the substrate, you could also do water wisteria, which grows pretty rapidly as well.
