I can attest to this, I use it in all the freshwater tanks at work. Super easy to grow and keeps the water very clean.

Also shown is Philodendron, aluminum plant, and lucky bamboo.

Wait just a minute. . . You are telling me you can grow aluminum plant out the back of an aquarium?

A coworker purchased it thinking it was a true aquatic (it's a bog plant). Since it wouldn't survive long-term in the tanks, I decided to see if it would grow in the HOB. At first, the leaves turned black and curled up on the ends, and I assumed it would dry up.

But now the plant is thriving, sending out new shoots and loving the sunlight it gets each day. I don't mist it, and I only add Flourish to the tank once a week. I've considered taking some cuttings and seeing if I can get it going in other tanks, too.

I also want to try this with purple waffle.

Hmm. Amazing. I have an aluminum plant. Some days it does ok. Others it looks like its gonna die on me. Maybe I can try mine in the back of the tank. I however don't have a hob so I'd have to figure out how to do it
