    Hi!
I have a female and a male guppy, and the male has been chasing the female around and sniffing her ovipositer. What does this mean?

It means he either wants to mate with her or eat the fry if she's ready to drop so he can mate with her, see the pattern there? Male guppies have one track minds.

But now they seem to be kissing?!
Do have any idea what that means?

I think they're actually fighting or challenging each other.

Are you prepared to deal with lots of fry? It's the only thing that's going to happen here ;)

Can you get a better shot of the anal fin? If you can't, you can look at the section on sexing livebearers for examples. From what I can see, this could be either a male with more of a wild type tail or a young female that will fill out. It has a body color that can hide gravid spots.

I looked at the anal fin on it and it's a male. So,what do think they are doing?

They are both males. They are trying to mate with each other.

Really, this is not a cause for concern. Happens all the time. Guppies aren't gender discriminate.
