What Are My Guppies Doing?

Some guppies that I just purchased about 2 days ago have started rubbing their stomachs against the heaters and some decor. They rarely do it, I just want to know if this is a type of mating behavior, flaring their colors trying to attract a mate? Are they itchy? I really don't know.

Thanks,

Are they doing it frequently? Or is it more of a once a day that a couple do it? The same ones all the time or is it alternating?

I have about 8 guppies, I’ve only seen about 3 do it, all males and colored. I’ve only see them do it a few times, and they do it like 3 Times in a row, and then they stop. It seems like the same ones doing it.

Multiple times daily? How long have you had them?

I got them just about 3 - 4 days ago, but I only see one of the females doing it now. I notice she does it right after feeding on flakes.

They're just acclimating then. No need to worry unless it happens frequently and you see other signs of sickness.
