I want to add live plants to my fry tank but can't find any that survive.

Welcome to Fishlore!
What live plants are you adding to your tank that are dying? What kind of lighting do you have?
In the meantime, you can make spawning mops for the fry to hide in. They're made out of cheap yarn from a craft store.

I had floating plants (frog-bit and duckweed) . I have a fluorescent bulb for the tank. Also thanks for the tip I'll try that

Neither of those like a lot of surface agitation. Maybe that's it?

Hornwort is a lifesaver for fry... Easy to care for, just let it float on top. Super easy to find at lfs or Amazon.
My fish ate all my floaters roots, plus they hated the current... Placed then in a decorative jar for me to enjoy separately with a moss ball below.
I've also heard guppy grass (najas maybe?) is great, just haven't tried it myself...

you could test kh of your water.
I think that's why I killed hornwort and couple other plants (my kh was zero).
I like guppy grass.
just like hornwort, nothing to do for it...it just grows.
it fills out the space in the tank, top to bottom.when it gets close to the substrate it'll grow roots and plant itself, even in sand.
doesn't shed as bad as hornwort.
I have it in my shrimp tanks, most of it on one side of the tank.
