I want some low light plants.
Some info about my tank:
PH is 7.5 (I think)
All in one Easy green
Inert substrate
Nitrate is 5-10ppm
My light is 16W full spectrum light in a 29 gallon (is that a low light or medium?)

I would reccomend rotala rotundafolia. I have it in my low light tanks and I cant reccomend it enough. It grows super quickly once it settles into the tank and you can just cut it and plant it again when it gets too tall. I have way too many of it now lol and I dont know what to do with it! Do you have root tabs?

Lights vary so much now days that I find it hard to recommend a watt/gallon. But, I'd say that 16watts of any kind of light on a 209 gallon is very low light.

I have 180 watts of Kessel LED light over my 150 gallon, and it is just barely enough to grow my hairgrass. I'll probably be adding more light down the road to get the kind of growth I want.

I think you'd have the best chance sticking to low light plants like java fern, anubias, and bucephalandras. You can make these background plants (in a way) buy attaching them all over driftwood.

Yea sorry about that, I mean 29 gallon. I'll do research some on rotala rotundifolia. I am going to buy root tabs.

most anubia and java fern should be fine; floating plants might do ok like frogbit, hornworth, sylvania. They do better with strong light but if all else is good and the light is close to the top of the tank they should get enough. There are many anubia to pick with different tints of green and leaf shape. nana is popular there is a golden nana that is a bright lime green, coffeia which has more of a ruffle leaf, afzelii which has a tear drop type leaf, glabra, ... too many different options. I'm not a fan of rotala esp in a low light tank but h'ra is spectacularly red but requires a strong light and co2 helps. Anyway the larger stores might sell 15 or 20 different types of anubia. Just be sure the rhizome rests above the substrate if you buy either java fern or an anubia else the plant will have a tendency to rot.

I'll repeat Linda1234, Anubias. There are now several nice variations, gold, yellow, varigated, large, small, various leaf shapes... You'll probably need to use an online vendor to access the full variety .

I already have anubias if you can see on the right on the driftwood. I also half windelov java fern that I accidently removed all the stems from the rhizome. I will call my pet store right now to see what they have.

To be honest I woudl also add some more java fern. Regular java fern can grow about 14 inches high and have leaves about 1/2 inch wide. Nice stuff.

For your tank, I would consider Rotala rotundifolia, Hygrophila difformis, and/or vallisnerias. I have found all of these to be hardy, beautiful, fast growers.
