Is that a special type of bolbitis? It looks more delicate then the stuff I have.

It's B. heudelotii, a species of Bolbitis that is pretty uncommon in my area.

My tank is 4'x1'x2' (L x W x H). So it's around 90 gallons.
If those dimensions are correct I am thinking this is actually a 60 gallon tank. Still a great size and you can't beat the price. I only pointed it out for stocking purposes. Can't house quite as many fish in a 60 as you can in a 90. You are doing a wonderful job on it. I love the uncluttered look of that beautiful planted centerpiece.

I actually thought that the tank might be a 90. I looked at the dimensions online for a 90 gallon and it matches to the dimensions of my tank. Mind you, the tank is actually bigger in person. And yes, I prefer to keep the tank under-stocked as I prefer to keep a species-only tank (even though I have one pleco).

As far as I am concerned stocking isn't complete without a pleco I do love my pleco's.

And oh, forgot to mention. I believe that the previous owner told me that the tank itself was custom made. Also, the tank is actually rimless!

Check this out. It is a Fishlore help page. You can put your tank dimensions in and it will compute the numbers of gallons. I put your numbers in and it said 59.84 US gallons or 49.85 UK gallons.

Here's the thing, I went by estimation, not by exact numbers. But thank you for your help.

Gotcha sometimes eyeballing works too

If I had any eye teeth I would give them for a 90 gallon tank

UPDATE:

The fish have gotten big and I decided to do a re-scape of the aquarium.
