Wet Dry Filter Overflowing

Help!!! The output of my wet dry filter keeps overflowing, I initially thought it was filter pad I was using but this is the second one and it’s a cheap brand so it’s not that thick. It looks like more water in going into the sump and it’s not a consistent water outflow, there are periods of a lot of water going into the filter. What ends up happening is the water from the tank is getting into the return pump bin without getting filter and the return pump is putting that water back in. It’s a 100 gallon tank and I’m using Jebao DCP 4000 as the return pump. I have it set at the lowest setting which is at 30%

Thanks guy. I actually fixed the issue. The problem was with the filter pad, it was too thick and kept absorbing water every few days. I replaced it with a polishing pad which is flowing the water a lot better.
