Well Water Vs. Spring Water

I have well water with a water softener. I have been problems with PH and cloudy water. Should I use spring water instead? Also, if I use Spring water should I treat it with Prime before adding it to the tank?

Do you have a holding tank that holds the water before it goes through the water softener system? If you do I'd just go to it and get the water there. (Check the ph, nitrates, ammonia, etc. before you use it). Otherwise, you can use the spring water (where are you getting the spring water from) I'd test it for everything too, and go from there on if you need to treat it with prime or not.

No, holding tank. I can just use Spring Water. I was going to buy gallon jugs from grocery store, Giant Eagle.

How big is your tank, that could add up pretty quick.

It's only 10 gallon.

It's only 10 gallon.
That wouldn't be too bad then, I'd test the water you are going to buy, bottled water comes from all kinds of places.

If its bottled natural spring water it should be fine, purified, ro/di, distilled water may need something like fresh trace. Really depends on the source.. some bottled water could be some dude filling it out of his bath tub
