Welcoming Back

Hi, have any of you wondered where I have been lately? I haven’t really posted much, and if I had, it wasn’t very informational.
I’d like to welcome myself back into the forums, and let you know too.

I’ve been inactive due to a big knee surgery this month. I was taken into surgery very early in the morning, and put under deep anesthesia durning that time.
I didn’t feel myself for a whole day, but I am much better, and ready to jump back into the action.

Still unable to be active, or play sports, I am still able to care for my tanks, and get back into the schedules of it.
I haven’t cleaned many of my tanks, and they are well over due so that’s something I need to fix

I had my dressing removed yesterday at my pediatrics office. My skin is healing, but I still have eleven staples, and a full stitching in my knee.
It wasn’t an actual knee surgery, it was a removal of a growth on the side of my right femur. The growth was hard, and bony like a normal bone.

Okay, so I did a few things while I was gone…

I completely cycled my 2.5 gallon JumanjI tank, and added a temporary school of Celestial Pearl Danios.
They are really fitting to this tank, and I love how it looks.

I also am redoing my betta tank today, and it’s a 10 gallon divided if you didn’t know. I am inserting a new filter, and plants to the scape.
I got these super cool suction cups that I am going to use for bubblers. They have perfect holes for slots, as the tubing will perfectly slide through this.

Solstice, my opal white. He tore his tail a bit, so I will medicate the tank somewhat, and waterchange it daily for a week.
I am also switching the sides, as my older betta isn’t liking having a roommate very much, and his side is more bare, giving him an unsettled feeling.

Here’s some pictures of what things look like!

I also have been extremely deep in hermit crabs this month, and so that’s taken a great deal of time away from me.
I keep terrestrial land crabs, and they are quite tricky. From a ballast going out, and a hermit crab molting, I’ve been under some stress with them. I nearly lost a crab to a molt, because he kept abandoning his shell

I hope to be more active here, and get back into fish keeping!
