Weird mystery snail behavior

My black mystery snail has started to climb to the top of the tank and hang upside down from the lid. I’m not sure why. I have it in a 10 gallon tank with a guppy and a gold mystery snail. Neither of them are acting out of the ordinary so I don’t think it’s the water. I clean the tank once a week or twice if it needs it. I’m not sure if it’s a male or female but a clutch was laid a couple of days ago (don’t know if that’s related or not) but it started afterwards.

I got the water line dropped but maybe it prefers the lid??

Mystery snails will climb up above the water line to lay their eggs. This is my guess of what's going on.
