Weird Molly Behaviour

So my brother moved and ditched me with his fish, 4 Mollies, and 1 Killifish.
I wanted to treat them for disease and give them to a friend, but these fish just keep being weird. The weird thing is that his molly Granite, puts his head under the killifish, and like, nuzzles them. Gently.

20180706_042834.jpg I just wanted to know if this was psychological, or like physical. Medical or mental. Cause he does have a patch of something on his head, almost looks like ick but ive been treating the water for everything including that. Could be pigment change but its big.

If it’s big and one spot it doesn’t sound like ick... ick is small tiny white specs... lots of them and they are tiny tiny

That's what my thoughts were, it might jist be color, but there is still the behavioural issue...

I would personally try some salt baths or at bare minimum a dip... won’t cause any harm and may cure them right up... he could also be trying to rub and scratch himself... is he rubbing against other stuff too? That’s a sign of certain diseases

He is only rubbing against Gabriel

There is the spot, the other white bits are natural color. I will try the salt thing.

Hmm weird could just be him being silly or maybe he just really likes him all of a sudden lol
The salt bath/dip can’t hurt just be sure the bucket is clean and take him out if he shows signs of distress!

Just sounds like he's trying to mate with it. They sort of nibble and nuzzle around underneath the other fish before going for it lol

usually the females will do it more to the males, presumably to get them 'interested', but some males do it first before mating too I've noticed.

I never even thought of that!! That’s most likely exactly what it is!! Mollies are extremely “****” fish lol and if you don’t have any female mollies they will try to mate with nearly anything lol I can’t believe that never even crossed my mind!!
