I have 6 angels in my 45g and so far I have 1 pair. 3 are pretty much full grown and 3 are still juveniles. My plan is to get 2 pairs if possible (so there won’t be a need to fight over females) and rehome the remaining two.
Im noticing now, however, that two of the smaller angels are spending a lot of time cleaning plants and rocks, near each other. I haven’t really seen pairing behavior though? One of them has his breeding tube out, the other’s sex is still not confirmed. Is this breeding behavior, or are they just “hungry”? They just seem so young still.
