Weekly pwc

Just wondering how I should do my weekly pwc on my RCS tank... Is gravel vac not a good idea since I could suck up baby shrimp without realizing it? Do I just change the water on the top to be safe?

I have no idea what pwc stands for... But I'm assuming you are asking about water changes? RCS are temperature sensitive so you have to be extra careful when changing water. Also, put plants in the tanks so they will clean the gravel so you won't have to.

Sorry, yes partial water change. I have 1 Anubias, 2 Java ferns, Marimo moss mat, 1 Marimo moss ball, and Java & Christmas moss in a 5.5 g tank. But I'm assuming I still need to do pwc. Should I do weekly pwc? I do pwc for my 5 fish tanks every 7-10 days with gravel vacs. I just assumed shrimp tanks would need weekly pwc too. Am I wrong?

It really depends on your water quality. Doing water tests will help determine how often you need to do your water changes.

Ya if your tank is cycled just once a week take 1/4 of the water out to get new water.
