I was wondering why my convict chichlids were acting weird... two of the 4 caves have been taken over by a pair each.
the pairs have been digging out the sand substrate underneath the arches for the past week and I was wondering why.
today while watching the largest puff sand out onto a dune I noticed bubbles underneath the rock that is the roof for his cave.. but they looked odd for bubbles.. they are eggs... wooo...
I don't know where my albino laid her eggs but I am guessing inside the hollow plastic of the plastic cave as she and her mate have been guarding it with vigilance.
