WCMM oudoors

MY WCMMs are already swimming outdoors again for the past 3 weeks. They're doing fine. WCMMs do withstand low temperatures and so ideal to keep outdoors. By the end of this month or the beginning of next month other fish will follow.

Overhere some fish that were scooped out to be put in a small container to make a short video of them.

Congrats emeraldking, Hope they do well.
I have had my WCM in my pond all year round. I live in a temperate/subtropic region where my pond water hits 87 F in the hottest summer days and 50 F in the coldest days. During the winter I created a small green house roof to place on top. Every spring I do realize there are less fish and I am sure some died from the over wintering, but they spring back numbers every summer.

Oh, sorry... I wasn't aware of your reply. In last April we still had night temperatures between 0 - 8°C.

Mine (the stunning golden variety) also went outside last week and are doing well in a water butt.

Its too warm indoors in summer.
