Waterbox 10 Water Flow For Betta

HI everyone, I recently purchased a waterbox 10 which came with a built-in filtration system and pump. While the water seems to be cycling through nicely, the output flow seems to bother my Betta. He gets caught in the current and gets annoyed. Right now I have a few fake plants and some hiding spots. I'm slowly going to add more plants and other features. But just wondering if there is something I can do in the meantime to control or slow the flow of water.

I'm not super familiar with the tank but first I'd look to see if there's an adjustment knob on your filter pump. (If you haven't already.)

Thank you so much! There was an adjustment switch that I never noticed. Problem solved!!

If you ever notice this again in the future you can also diffuse the output by shoving a silk plant or something in it. That way you still get a lot of flow of freshwater but its not strong in one spot causing him to get blown around like a kite in the wind!

Or just put a pre-filter sponge over the output. Slows down output, adds a place for the good bacteria to grow.
