Welcome to Fishlore! :)

Nitrates are lowered by doing water changes. Thats a lot of big fish in a 29g that could be why its high. Do you know that Bala Sharks can get like 14 inches long?

Hello,
Thank you for the welcome. I do water changes just about every 2 weeks. I am working on getting a 75g to house all of my fish so they are more comfortable.
Thank you for the reply.

I would bump it to 50% every week. It will go down to regular nitrate levels then. :) There is a bunch of fish in there, they will need the fresh water to stay healthy until you get your bigger tank.
