Water Lilly Cutting?

Hi I have some water lillys in my pond and I was woundring if it is possible to take a cutting or something and plant it in my aquarium.

I don't know for absolute sure but I don't think you can grow one from a cutting. I think you would have to get a bulb or possibly collect seeds.

Ok thanks for replying would a Red tiger lotus survive in my tank as it is kept at room temp with lows around 16C and highs of 25C?

I don't see why it wouldn't. It may need a root tab but since I've never had one of these I don't know that for certain. I do put root tabs under the pond lilies I have in my tank and also feed the tank with Thrive.
