I'm in the process of hooking up a sump tank but I don't understand how the water levels will stay even.
If my siphon intake is greater than my return, my main tank's water level will eventually drop below the overspill box and I'll lose my siphon.
If my return pump is greater than my siphon intake, the water level in my sump will eventually drop below the pumps height which I think isn't good for the pump and will also blow a lot of air into my tank.
Do I just try to even the flows as much as I can by clamping one of the hoses or am I missing something?
