All this is my 1st post in here so i signed up and figured i might get some help. My tank is looking a little cloudy. I haven't done nothing really. I had bought a piece of wood from a fish shop dropped it in and well this happened so i pulled it out hoping it would clear back up. Fish are living fine no issues. It just has this haze to it now. It was clear before. And ideas on what i should do? Thank you in advance.

Are your water parameters testing normally?
I'd water change either way. Some discoloration from wood is normal, but it shouldn't be thaaaat cloudy.

Boiling your wood in water before adding it never hurts.

Boil the wood and if nothing settles down in the tank do a water change.

    Is your tank cycled?

Can’t see much but looks like a bacterial bloom, a good thing if you’re cycling.

I boil driftwood for an hour, change water, boil another hour. Total of a minimum of 4 hours. Minimal tannins.
