Hi!
I finally managed to get a 30 gallon tank (no plants) for my fishies! I now have 2 tanks, one is 10 and one is 30. I'm using the 10 for the fish fry and the other for the adults. Sorry I didn't take a photo yet, but will do tonight.
New 30 gallon tank: I spent $70 Canadian on a used but good 30 gallon tank that also came with a 200W "Aqueon submersible heater" and "Aquaclear 110 water filter". Also it came with brand new foam, carbon, and biomax for the filter, analog thermostat, hood and light. I think if I had bought all these items brand new at a store it would have cost me at least $300 before tax, so I think I scored a good deal! No?
Question: The water current is really strong even on lowest level because the "Aquarclear 110" is for 60 gallonto 110g tanks and not a 30g. The fish are all hanging out on the sides of the tank at the top, because I have the filter centered on the tank and current is super strong for them.
How do I deal with that? Ideas, please? The photo in my signature is from the 10 gallon tank.
